The method of fundamental solutions for axisymmetric problems

چکیده

In this paper, we describe how the Method of Fundamental Solutions (MFS) can be applied to various axisymmetric boundary value problems. In all cases examined, the fundamental solutions and their derivatives may be expressed in terms of complete elliptic integrals, which can be easily evaluated using widely available library software. The method is applied to two test problems from potential theory.
